Why Join JLE PTA?
Your PTA dues include membership in the State and National PTA, as well as help support James Lewis Elementary. James Lewis Elementary's Parent-Teacher Association is committed to supporting a safe, fun, and academically strong environment for our children. The PTA supports school programs, staff, and kids through planning family and community events. The PTA holds fundraisers to help supplement the school’s budget to improve supplies, technology, and anything needed to keep our students challenged and learning in this modern world.
Becoming a PTA member does not require attendance at meetings or volunteer time. It does, however, allow members to attend many PTA sponsored events free of charge or at a discounted rate throughout the year. Anyone can attend a PTA board meeting; however only PTA members may vote at a meeting to help guide program and event decisions and where and how PTA funding is used. Membership is also tax deductible. Memberships are effective July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019.
Membership costs $25 for a family.
